Merchants & Farmers Bank of Greene County (“Merchants & Farmers”) and First Community Bank of Central Alabama (“FCB”) announced that FCB has acquired the Prattville, Alabama, branch of Merchants & Farmers.
Olsen Palmer LLC served as financial advisor to Merchants and Farmers Bancshares, Inc., parent of Merchants & Farmers Bank of Greene County.
FCB has acquired the physical location and the deposit and loan accounts associated with the branch; the deposits and loans conveyed by Merchants & Farmers to FCB are approximately $13 million and $6 million, respectively. Merchants & Farmers will continue to operate through its headquarters location in west Alabama.
